Dear Citizens of Bluffdale,

I am excited to announce my candidacy for the City Council of Bluffdale. With great pride and a deep commitment to our community, I step forward to serve you in this vital role.

As a global corporate leader and a U.S. military retiree with experience in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan, I bring knowledge and dedication to public service and fiscal responsibility not commonly seen in local government.

If you look into our political landscape you will find our community is splitting down the middle which could ultimately hamper our ability to effectively operate as a city. I for one do not support the seperation, to thrive and grow as a community we need unity. It takes a strong leader that can seperate themself from these influences and biases. It takes someone who can view these issues for what they are and influence change for the better without taking sides, maintaining focus on the residents and not the government.

I am committed to working tirelessly with the mayor, other council members, and others to address this issue head on and ensure our peaceful city remains peaceful. If a proposal or decision is not in the best interests of the citizens, I will not support it.

My plan involves a comprehensive review of Bluffdale's finances and residential taxes to ensure that your hard-earned money is spent wisely and effectively on essential services. I am committed to supporting our police and fire departments, as well as our dedicated public works department, to enhance their ability to serve ALL of our citizens fairly and above board. I will fight to ensure ALL citizens understand why we make financial decisions for the city. I will fight to give our Citizen's back their voices. Our foundational services like fire and police suffer due to expenditures on high value infrastructure projects.

Together, we can make informed decisions that strengthen our community while maintaining a close watch on our finances.

We must meet specific state requirements around affordable housing, but I will ensure we manage growth wisely, while meeting with the Govenor and other state officials to get more control of what happens in Bluffdale back to the residents and not the state, whereby preserving the unique charm of Bluffdale, ensuring it remains a welcoming and peaceful place for families and individuals. Growth should be managed in a way that respects our community’s values and way of life.

Bluffdale is a remarkable place filled with potential, and together, we can ensure it rto emains a vibrant and thriving community. My commitment to you, the citizens of Bluffdale, is to prioritize your concerns in all my efforts. I understand the importance of listening and acting on your feedback, which is why I pledge to respond to all concerns within 72 hours.
